After being named Friesian Saddle Seat Horse of the Year for four consecutive years in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, it was no surprise that Dash Rip Rock was recognized as a National Horse of Honor by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) for 2015 and inducted into the Horse Stars Hall of Fame.

Dash Rip Rock, a Friesian stallion owned, trained, and ridden by amateur Laurie Statam and her daughter, Robynn, has won numerous National and World Titles in English Pleasure, Park, Show Pleasure Driving, Carriage Driving, Halter and Ride & Drive (Informal Combination).

Dash's performances in the show ring in 2015 dominated, going undefeated in English Pleasure and Park. At the Bonnie Blue National Horse Show in Lexington, Virginia, Dash won all English Pleasure, Show Pleasure Driving and High Point awards. At the Buckeye Baroque Regional Championship in Columbus, Ohio, he floated down victory lane five times in seven performances.

At the Blue Ridge Classic Horse Show in Asheville, North Carolina, Dash won six out of seven classes, and earned 12-year-old Robynn her first Walk Trot Championship, epitomizing this charismatic stallion's kindness and ability.

Mid-summer took Dash to New York at the Baroque Horse Region 2 Championships, where he saw a repeat of English Pleasure and Show Pleasure Driving superiority. At the Region 1 Championships, he won the English Pleasure and Show Pleasure Driving classes.

To wrap up an amazing year, Dash traveled across the country to the IFSHA Friesian World and Grand National Championships in Burbank, California, where he earned 10 World Championship titles and six Reserve Champion titles in Carriage, Show Pleasure Driving, Park, Ride-n-Drive, and Liberty in Open, Amateur, and Junior divisions.

Dash Rip Rock is a classic - not only known for his "big trot" and elegant presence, but also for being willing, active, energetic, and gentle - all the characteristics admired in the Friesian breed.
